Taxonomy

Taxonomy refers to customizing standard entity labels, such as leads, contacts, deals, and meetings, to align with your terminology.

For instance:​

  • A "lead" in the real estate industry might be called a "patient" in healthcare.​

  • A "meeting" could be termed an "appointment" in a service-based business.​

Taxonomy allows you to change "lead" to "Patient" everywhere in NeetoCRM.

Customizing Taxonomy

  1. Go to Admin Panel.

  2. In General settings, click on Taxonomy.

  3. Click on Three-dot menu next to the default label.

  4. Then, click on Edit.

  5. A pane will appear where you can change the terminology.

  6. Save the changes.

Reverting to Default Taxonomy Settings

  1. Go to the Admin Panel.

  2. In General settings, click on Taxonomy.

  3. Click on the Three-dot menu next to the default label.

  4. Then, click on Reset to defaults.
