Email signatures let you end every email you send from NeetoCRM with your name, role, links and logo. You create signatures under My preferences, keep as many as you need, and choose one when you compose an email.
Creating a signature
- Go to My preferences > Email > Signatures.
- Click Add new signature.
- Choose Markdown to write with a toolbar, or HTML to paste your own markup, and click Continue.
- Write or paste the signature. The Markdown editor lets you format text, add links and upload images; the HTML box takes the markup of a designed signature. The preview on the right shows the signature at the end of a sample email.
- Click the name at the top to rename the signature. New signatures are named after you, for example "Rachel Fernandes Signature 1".
- Click Save changes.
Managing your signatures
The Signatures page lists each signature with its format and the date it was created. Your first signature becomes the default, and a Default label marks it in the list.
- Open the menu on a signature in the list.
- Click Mark as default, Edit, Rename or Delete.
The default signature cannot be deleted while you have other signatures; mark another one as the default first.
Adding a signature to an email
- Open a lead, deal or contact and click Send email on the Mails tab, or select several leads, deals or contacts in the list and choose Send email from the bulk actions.
- Below the message body, Include signature is checked and your default signature is selected, with a preview of how it will look.
- To use a different signature, pick it from the Signature dropdown. To send without one, uncheck Include signature.
- Send the email.
The signature is added after the message body. The sent email on the Mails tab keeps the signature as it was when you sent it, so editing a signature later does not change emails you have already sent.
